Description of Role:
Addresses security vulnerabilities in the delivery and runtime environment: CI/CD pipelines,
infrastructure as code, container configurations, secrets management, and cloud posture. Many of
the most critical risks sit not in application code but in how platforms are built, deployed, and
operated, making this a high-impact role
Key Responsibilities
• Implement security gates in CI/CD pipelines.
• Remove hardcoded secrets and integrate with vault/secrets management solutions.
• Fix IaC scanning findings (e.g. Terraform).
• Resolve cloud configuration issues and over-permissive service principals.
• Improve environment segregation and deployment permissions.
• Implement OIDC/workload identity where applicable.
• Support policy-as-code adoption and secure logging/monitoring integration.
Required Skills:
• Strong DevOps/DevSecOps background with hands-on cloud experience (Azure, AWS).
• Experience securing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Proficient with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep).
• Experience with container security.
• Familiar with secrets management platforms (HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
• Knowledge of cloud security posture management (CSPM) tooling.
