ROLE OVERVIEW
We are recruiting for a highly capable Presales Solutions Architect to support technical sales pursuits across Europe. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, customer-facing, and technically strong across API Management and Identity & Access Management (IAM) technologies
This role requires a blend of technical depth, communication skills, and the ability to deliver demos and POCs that demonstrate genuine product value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Presales Delivery
• Design and deliver technical demos, POCs, and tailored solution walkthroughs.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and validate technical proposals.
• Act as a subject matter expert for API, IAM, and integration patterns.
• Conduct technical discovery workshops with customers.
Solution Architecture
• Translate business and technical requirements into documented architectures.
• Participate in solution shaping alongside Sales, Engineering, and Product teams.
• Build reusable demo assets and improve presales processes.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Present confidently to both business and technical audiences.
• Build rapport with customers.
• Provide guidance or mentorship to junior colleagues where appropriate.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience & Education
• 5+ years in Presales, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, or Enterprise Architecture.
• Prior exposure to leading or mentoring small teams.
• Computer Science degree or equivalent technical foundation.
Technical Expertise
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (Java preferred). Ideally, strong Java coding ability (Java-based), able to build custom POCs and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with:
o API Management platforms
o Identity & Access Management
Soft Skills
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation capabilities.
• Comfortable owning a technical narrative in customer conversations.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts in simple terms.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Candidates meeting most—but not necessarily all—of the ideal profile can still be considered if they demonstrate:
• 3–5 years in technical customer-facing roles (presales, consulting, implementation).
• Good working knowledge of API or IAM technologies.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and build demos with support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in the local market language + mandatory English.
• Motivation to develop deep technical expertise

LANGUAGES
• Professional-level fluency in Dutch.
• English required for internal and external collaboration.
