Healthcare/NHS Account Director. Our client is a specialist Microsoft VAR focused on Azure and AI.
This trail-blazing Healthcare/NHS Account Director will work to ensure the client’s needs are qualified and a technology product is recommended and presented. You will be selling Microsoft solutions, including Azure and AI solutions. This is a new business, ‘land and expand’ brief, co-selling with Microsoft to win new business in the NHS, and more broadly in healthcare.
This role plays a fundamental part in continuing the hugely successful growth of the business; building new relationships with our future customers through the application of the right technology and cloud services that deliver service improvements and cost savings to our prospective clients.
• Identify and contact decision-makers to generate a pipeline of leads which you will the nurture to create opportunities
• Support the lead generation team with qualifying potential opportunities in-line with the business strategy
• Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up to date on industry news
• Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
• Take a lead role in the development and presentation of quotations, proposals and presentations
• Manage proposal response process, content creation, and inputs from various sources
• Manage deal structure and pricing for prospective bids and proposals
• Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations

What is required
• Innate hunger and desire to be a winner, with experience in a business-to-business (B2B) technology sales role
• Strong work ethic on outbound prospecting activity; using a multi-channel approach of the phone, LinkedIn and email
• Proven track record of success as a seller of IT seller
• Experience of co-selling with Microsoft is essential
• Confident, engaging, and resilient personality
• Customer-obsessive – our team goes above and beyond to deliver only the very best service for our prospects and customers
• Consultative sales approach – Starting with where the customer is and putting their needs first.
• A commercial mindset: always looking to find the win-win between the prospect’s next need and growing business
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including presenting product demonstrations to the prospect stakeholders
• Identify prospects in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business needs

Remuneration: £140-170k OTE commensurate with experience & track record
