Technical Architect - Microsoft 365

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Microsoft 365 Technical Architect, focussing on Teams and Voice capabilities, to join our client’s dynamic and rapidly expanding Consultancy Practice. People development is core to our client and they are a significant investor in people and provide technical and professional training and vendor accreditation for staff.

The Technical Architect will deliver both pre and post sales technical consultancy to our client’s customers, leading teams of consultants in delivery engagements as well as providing pre-sales qualification, bid response and design to consultancy engagements. As a senior team member, the Technical Architect has responsibility for providing technical leadership to the team and providing guidance to internal and external customers in defining complex technical strategies with leading edge technologies.
Role Responsibility
Lead, own and support the pre-sales, delivery and assurance of Microsoft 365 (focused on Teams and Voice capabilities), including responses to large-scale and complex customer opportunities, including ITTs, RFPs and RFIs
Developing customer relationships to achieve trusted advisor status in order to drive organisational change through the adoption of new technology
Collaborate with the sales, technical delivery, and operational teams in the development of Microsoft 365 and voice-based solutions that meet customer requirements
Develop future service offerings and value propositions to keep our client relevant to the market
Keep up to date with current and future market developments, technologies, products and strategies.
Key Skills/Knowledge
Extensive experience in Microsoft Teams
Extensive experience of Teams Governance
Extensive experience of voice integrated solution to include Session Border Controller. It is expected that the successful candidate will have a strong background in Lync, Skype for Business and voice integrated solutions
Experience of meeting room solutions
Experience of designing and implementing solutions utilising the following technologies;
M365 – Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive
Azure Active Directory
On-premises Active Directory
On-premises Exchange
Exchange / Active Directory migration
Professional Qualifications/Certifications in the technologies mentioned above.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
