We are looking for a Solutions Architect to operate at a strategic level with key accounts in a high-availability, predominantly financial services environment for our client, a global IT services company and systems integrator. We are recruiting for a consultative sales, technology and solution focused /presales specialist and trusted advisor.
Working in close partnership with Global Account Managers and by developing long term customer trust based relationships at all levels, the Solution Architect serves as the technical lead within an account, proactively seeking opportunities to initiate and drive technology adoption in Networking.
•Collaboration with other Solution Architects across accounts for a wider perspective on customer technology and business outcome trends
•Research market trends and present findings back to senior leadership to determine suitability for inclusion in the ongoing solution offerings
•Partner with the Head of Engineering to continually evaluate and refine the reference architecture to support the go-to-market solution offerings
•Technical account leadership and the go-to resource for all pre-sales opportunities with the account
•Participate in strategic account planning exercises
•Proactively pursue new customer opportunities
•Partner with the Services teams to leverage practical implementation and delivery knowledge to enable delivery of successful solutions
•Understand customer strategy across core technology stacks
Key skills and experience required:
•Demonstrable and recognised architectural and solution selling skills
•Proven ability to develop trusted relationships as a technical advisor in enterprise level customers
•Demonstrable understanding of key industry trends such as Software Defined Networking, Application performance assurance, Automation, Cloud Services and DevOps.
•Experience of enterprise-class architectures
•Commercial awareness with the ability to create a business case and cost models
•Passion for and experience in architectural selling within Enterprise level customers
•Significant technical delivery participation in at least 3 major projects
•10+ years related IT experience in IT infrastructure technology engineering
•5+ years enterprise level pre-sales experience
•Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
•Extensive and demonstrable leadership skills
•Product selection and comparison skills
