Project Manager- IT Infrastructure. UK. /Home/City based.
Project Manager IT Infrastructure required for our consultancy practice at FTS. You will be working with a Programme Manager at a financial services customer, collaborating with key business group stakeholders taking responsibility for leading the controlled migrations of Host Connectivity in a ServiceNow environment. Key activities will include stakeholder management, data analysis and migration planning and delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Business Analysis
• Data Analysis
• Stakeholder management
• Helping to develop defined statements of work and resource plans.
• Perform solutions delivery activities for customer success, through demonstrated team leadership, technical knowledge and consultative skills
• Lead project teams effectively to deliver customer objectives
• Identify and manage risks that impact the project
• Provide project status reports
• Develop the technical implementation/migration plan
• Test & commission solutions as per approved system acceptance test plans
• Develop & execute service transition plans/handover

Profile / Key Skills
• 5-10 Years + industry/commercial experience in a high-availability, ideally Financial Services environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure
• Demonstrated understanding of an acknowledged formal project management methodology e.g. Prince2
• Project planning, change management, risk management, stakeholder management and project status reporting
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), as this role involves close partnership with Business and Technology stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work effectively across all organisational levels.
• Effective multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Day Charge rate: £400-445 per day
Contract length: 5 months +.
