Project Co-Ordinator- IT Infrastructure: EUC/Server/Storage/Networks.
Project Co-Ordinator, required to support IT infrastructure and transition projects both internally and external customers at a busy IT services company who specialise in IT infrastructure managed services. This is considered to be an ideal opportunity for an aspiring project manager/PMO manager/transition manager/programme manager/service delivery manager/account manager to develop their career in one these functions for the business. This Nottingham based company is dedicated to customer services excellence and you will be working with an innovative and passionate team of people.
Our client provides global outsourcing services to thousands of customer sites. They are a well-established company with a 25 year successful track record.
•Utilise existing PMO documentation and reporting templates including: Highlight Reports, Action, Risk & Issue Logs, Milestone, Reports and Project Financials. The successful candidate will be encouraged to improve these templates as required.
•Manage internal and external customer projects when Required.
•Project reporting and reporting to Senior Management.
•Manage and compile Project related financial and KPI information.
•Oversee project costs and ensure finances are well managed.
•Provide and maintain a capacity planning and resource tracking service across projects.
•Update and maintain the Risk Log, Action Log, Decisions Log, and Issue Register
•Ensure cross-project dependencies are managed and the dependency log is accurately maintained.
•Coordinate project closure to distil good practice and ensure lessons learned are logged.
•Prepare regular status reporting to all relevant levels of the business.
•Ensure efficient change control methods and process are utilised.
•Work closely with the Customer Support Team and other relevant departments to inform them of new projects and potential impacts on their teams.
•Work closely with external 3rd party service providers to ensure project quality and customer satisfaction achieve appropriate levels.
•Experience of successfully Project Co-ordinating/managing of the complete lifecycle of a project end to end.
•Experience of service transition (new customers into ‘live’ operations).
•Experience in creating and maintaining project plans, including risks, actions, issues and dependencies.
•Experience of resource planning and task assignment.
•IT skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
•Project level financial management.
•Change Management and Change Management method in an IT context.
•Working towards or have Prince2, PMP, APM, AGILE accreditations/qualifications.
Type of role: Permanent
Basic salary: To £33k
