CCNA level NOC Engineer required for leading IT Services company. We are currently recruiting for a CCNA level Engineer with commercial experience of working in NOC (Network Operations Centre) supporting LAN/WAN technologies.
Our client – a leader in technology solutions and a Cisco Master Networking Specialist - is seeking an energetic and well-rounded, career minded individuals who will focus on providing excellent user service experience as IT/NOC Engineer Technician.
You will be a part of our Managed Services team and will be responsible for providing quick resolution to internal user’s issues, as well as provide support to projects and tasks assigned.
This position may also engage in some of our Managed Services practice (NOC) which provides monitoring and remote/on-site technical support services.
Purpose of Position:
The IT Technician Level 1/NOC Network Engineer position is primarily responsible for providing technical support to our internal users and systems. Secondarily, this position may engage in customer-facing support procedures within the Network Operations Center (NOC), as needed.
General Details:
• This position is based out of our London, UK office
• This position is full-time
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Act as first level technical support for all inbound calls and tickets
• Review, assess and complete IT support requests and escalate to Tier 2 support if needed
• Diagnose and resolve incident tickets.
• Answer inbound calls and resolve incidents for all requests
• Track and manage tickets
• Create and update trouble tickets as required by standard procedures.
• Assist with escalations as requested by Engineers or Management.
• Provide timely and effective technical support to meet user’s expectations via telephone or in person
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues i.e. connectivity, applications, Internet, WAN
• Develop and maintain excellent user relationships
• Complete additional tasks as directed by management
Technical Skills & Requirements:
• CompTIA A+ preferred
• Network+ preferred
• CCNA Highly Desired
• Troubleshooting desktop, server, and network issues
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Administration of Active Directory
• L1 knowledge and understanding of different technologies i.e. Windows, LAN/WAN, wireless, Microsoft Office, Networking

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Proactive approach and good troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on quick resolution.

• Prior helpdesk or NOC experience is a plus.
Type of job: Permanent
Salary: £30,000 to £45000 (depending on experience)
