NEW LOGO BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, HYBRID ROLE (split between remote based and their central London office)

We are recruiting a New Logo Business Development Manager for a rapidly expanding leading supplier of Network, Platform and Project Management Services. Our client is an IT consultancy working to bridge a gap in the market between the major IT services providers and the consultancy market.

As part of the sales team, you will contribute to the continued growth of the organisation working with an extensive portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be to seek out and secure new business opportunities to help expand the company’s reach within networking, cloud and security and to contribute to revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying and nurturing new relationships and to collaborate well with a team of peers.

Main duties: What you will be doing

• Focusing on new logos within the UK marketplace
• Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy to prioritise growth.
• Conduct high level industry research to identify new markets, growth areas, trends, and partnerships
• Work closely with stakeholders in marketing and business unit leaders
• Managing all key steps within the sales process, monitor sales progress and negotiate with key stakeholders
• Assist in developing the business sales and marketing strategy
• Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business
• Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company’s products and services
• Discuss and agree promotional strategy and activities with the Commercial Director
• Liaise with the Resource Team, Pre-sales, Marketing and Technical Assurance Teams as appropriate
• Attend seminars, conferences, and customer events where appropriate
• Keep up to date of trends and changes in the IT industry
• Assist in planning sales and marketing campaigns.

Essential Skills and profile: What you will bring

• Management and development of business and project opportunities within multiple verticals including Finance, Insurance, Media, and Telecommunications
• Development and management of high-level stakeholder relationships across all levels of personnel within high profile customers to develop a portfolio of engagements.
• Management and production of bids and proposals, working alongside clients and
internal technical pre-sales teams to provide accurate and detailed documentation
• Management of contractual negotiations for managed service, fixed price and time and material engagements
• An understanding of technologies including Network Engineering, Datacentre, Network Infrastructure, Telecoms and Project Management
• Ideally will have worked for an organisation that delivered IT infrastructure professional services, specifically network services background.
• Proven record of sales growth
• Have proven experience of working with large enterprises.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in a similar role
• Experience working in a matrix management system.

Location: Hybrid role
Remuneration: £90k basic,£200-230k OTE plus private health and pension
