Network Architect: DDI (Infoblox), Load balancers (F5 with iRules), Firewalls (Checkpoint or Fortinet)

Network Architect: DDI (Infoblox), Load balancers (F5 with iRules), Firewalls (Checkpoint or Fortinet). We are recruiting for an experienced Network Engineer (5 years +) for a leading financial services organisation, with the ability to architect, design, define standards, generate and deploy blueprints of network designs. You will have proven commercial experience in high-availability Enterprise environments, ideally in financial services.

The role:
• DHCP/DNS/IPAM, Firewalls, Load balancers, Time protocol, proxy and Cloud applications infrastructure management, design and automation
• Maintain the RIRs objects and DNS registrars DB
• Assess, plan, design and implementation of the infrastructure
• Capacity planning and troubleshooting of the network applications products, infrastructure, and services
• Monitoring and observability of the network applications products infrastructure

Skills and experience required:
• Seniority level above 5 years of experience in networking
• Ability to architect, design, define standards, generate and deploy blueprints of network designs
• Solid knowledge and experience with DDI (Infoblox), Load balancers (F5 with iRules), Firewalls (Checkpoint or Fortinet)
• Knowledge and experience with RIRs (Regional Internet Registry) and DNS registrars
• Automation with Python, Ansible, terraform, GitLab pipelines using DevOps practices.
• Knowledge and experience with cloud connectivity and cloud networking constructs for at least one cloud provider - Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle
• Knowledge and experience with monitoring and observability protocols, tools, and applications
• Manage numerous projects with competing priorities in a constantly changing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant IT field and/or relevant certifications and experience
• Finance industry experience is a plus.
