IT Support Engineer, Chester – to £40k

Salary: Very competitive – depending on experience

IT Support Engineer with strong experience and knowledge of Office 365/O365 and Firewalls, required for a successful, dynamic and technology savvy Care Homes group who are expanding their business. They are recruiting for a “hands on” IT Support Engineer to support their IT Infrastructure. You will be supporting approximately 300 + users

Skills Required

You will need 2-3 years+ experience in the following:

· Strong experience of supporting Office 365/O365

· Strong Firewall and security knowledge

· Experience of penetration testing

· Must have physical IT infrastructure experience: cabling etc.

· Interactive white boards

· Wireless

· VoIP telephones

· In touch with latest IT trends

· Ideally worked for an IT services company

Specific duties:

· Support IT infrastructure and to ensure it continues to underpin business growth

· Ensure a high level of customer service and support is provided to all internal and external customers

· Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, printers, etc.

· Investigate, diagnose and solve computer software and hardware faults

· Ensure that all laptops, desktops, tablets and phones are up to date with the latest security updates and Antivirus signatures

· Set up and configuring new laptops, desktops, tablets and phones

· Improve processes and procedures through the use of technology

· Communicate at all levels of the business
