IAM Quality Assurance Project Analyst
The Consultancy division of FT Select is recruiting for a Consultant/Contractor, a IAM QA Project Analyst to work with one of our financial services clients. The position is as part of Identity & Access Management (IAM) project team within the Group Cyber Security Programme.
IAM Onboarding is a stream within the IAM project, and the main objective is to onboard into IAM tool all Applications across the business. This will allow a centralised monitoring of system entitlements assigned to end users and automatic recertification of them. The review includes assessing the quality of the “Entitlement” descriptions to ensure that they are in plain English and easily understood by the Line Managers who will be completing the periodic access recertification campaigns.
• Partnering with the Technical Analysts and Application teams to correct any quality control issues that arise from the QA process.
• Managing the Quality Control process to ensure that application configurations are reviewed and signed off in the non-Prod environment before deployment into Production.
• Perform a retrospective review of the applications already onboarded into production and partner with the Technical Analysts and Application teams to make any suggested improvements in the quality of data.
• Build and maintain a collaborative relationship with all Business stakeholders / Application Teams.
• Report progress of agreed work packages to the Project Manager, socializing any concerns or gaps that will impact the projects’ ability to deliver.
• Ensure that the QA process is fully documented and maintain documents during the project lifecycle.
Experience and knowledge required:
• Five years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Project Analyst role in large enterprise environments. Financial services experience would be ideal, but not essential.
• Basic understanding of IAM principles, e.g., access recertification, Joiner/Mover/Leaver, Privileged Access Management.
• Experience with IdentityNow or IIQ products, from Sailpoint, or an industry recognised IAM tool.
• Ability to liaise and build relationships with Application Owners/Teams to discuss and/or suggest relevant alternatives to streamline unclear/generic application entitlements.
• Ability to structure, oversee and manage access recertification campaigns.
• Documentation of technical QA findings and recommendations for improvements.
• Ability to make sense of unclear / fuzzy application entitlement descriptions.
• Sound understanding of project delivery methodologies, having worked within delivery frameworks such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent.
Skills & behaviour:
• Good communication (verbal and written)
• Strong data analysis
• Strong Excel
• Able to work with minimal supervision within a team
• Effective time management and ability to prioritise
• Self-motivated and results-orientated
• Ability to deliver against demanding objectives.
