We are a dynamic, growing business, and we are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to join our team and help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets. As Sales Manager you will be responsible for maximising our sales team potential, developing strategic and tactical sales plans and presenting those plans to our Senior Leadership Team as well as successfully communicating them to the sales team with clear instruction, targets and measures.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth to achieve and exceed sales targets by managing and motivating the sales team.
- Leadership of a team of 4 field sales, 2 internal sales and 4 telemarketing executives, with aim to increase head count
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic sales plan to expand our customer base and solidify our market presence
- Take ownership of the recruitment process setting objectives, providing coaching and monitoring the performance of the sales team.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships through close collaboration and gaining a deeper understanding of their needs
- Present sales, revenue, expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the Senior Leadership Team
- Identify emerging markets, market shifts and provide market insights on products, positioning and the competitor landscape.
Requirements and skills
- BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field is advantageous but not essential
- A demonstratable track record in driving the sales process from planning to closure
- Proven experience in managing a sales team or organisation, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong business acumen and commercial sense to make informed decisions and seize opportunities
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
