DevOps Engineer; Firewall Automation: 12 month contract (Inside IR35)
This role will focus on Firewall Automation, Ruleset and EdgeConnect. You will require 5 years’ plus commercial python development experience, 5 years’ plus Network and automation design experience, 2 years’ + API development and commercial Ansible experience.
Skills
• Highly skilled python developers, 5 years’ + commercial experience
• Ansible Experience
• Network and automation design experience, 5 years’ plus
• API development required, 2 years’ plus
• Experience with automating network components, Fortinet, ACI, F5, AVI preferred

Deliverables
• Develop Ansible playbooks for automating changes to Fortinet, ACI, F5, AVI
• Develop python code using approved coding framework such as Django or Flask to develop the required APIs to build the Infrastructure as code framework
• Develop python code to build components within the infra as code framework design such as API gateways, schedulers
• Write automation and engineering standards to define how network configuration and topology templates can be created by other engineers. This is expected to be in YAML, Jinja or YANG
• Contribute to the design and documentation of the infrastructure as code framework
• Update the python code within the existing EdgeConnect provisioning portal
• Create additional service chains using python in the existing EdgeConnect provisioning portal

• Contract length: 12 months’ Inside of IR35
• Contract rate: £600 to £800 per day, depending on experience
