Cyber Security New Business Development Manager, London.
Basic Salary: £50,000 to £60,000, + commission: double OTE £100,000 to £120k
Our client is an established and major reseller with an enviable reputation both with customers and Vendors alike. High profile clients, including in the Media, Sport and Retail sectors.
Sales experience of Tier 1 Cyber Vendors, Darktrace, Check Point, Sophos, Palo Alto and experience with selling both cloud and on premises solutions.
They are growing, developing their Cyber Security practice selling into corporate markets and require an experienced door-opener to generate new sales opportunities.
The successful applicant will be working alongside our existing sales team and focused on developing and selling a range of Cyber Security products and solutions into both our existing customer base as well as proactively developing net new business opportunities.
Selling a select range of appliance, software & SaaS based products, the ideal candidate will have a high level of current knowledge and proven multi-vendor experience within these areas with experience across a range of verticals selling at C level. Covering solutions based around endpoint, network/perimeter & virtualisation security, you must also have a demonstrable understanding of network & data security best practice, as well as up to date knowledge of IT governance risk and compliance.
You will have the benefit of an in-house technical team to help you specify and design the right solution to match customer requirements. You will also be expected to work closely with the Business Development Managers at each manufacturer and our Distribution Partners. All our vendors are extremely supportive of our efforts, and you will have their full backing to help you succeed in this exciting new role.
The role will be reporting directly into the Sales Director and would be expected to work closely on a mutual business plan.
The successful candidate is expected to be able to travel to customer sites on a regular basis and attend the London HQ a minimum of 3 days per week.
Essential Experience & Skills to Include:
•Sales experience of Tier 1 Cyber Vendors, Darktrace, Check Point, Sophos, Palo Alto etc.
•Experience and evidence of carrying a minimum of a £300k+ Gross profit target (per Annum)
•Experience with selling both cloud and on premises solutions
•Hunter mentality and be comfortable working in an environment with a high focus on outbound lead generation.
•Excellent ‘Business Sense’ for evaluating sales opportunities in a dynamic environment.
•Solid communication and presentation skills and able to adapt these depending on the client
•Strong sales and marketing skills: needs analysis, positioning, and business justification and closing.
•High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment.
•Ability to work independently and as a team member.
•Self-motivated and proactive with a highly professional approach
•An understanding and experience of how to promote complex technology solutions
•Solid experience working with Data and managing a CRM
•Able to work on your own and be driven to succeed
Package:
•£50-£60k (Depending on experience & proven track record) + Commission (OTE approx. £120k+ uncapped)
