We are recruiting for a fast-growing telematics company, who are looking for a Client Services /Key Accounts Director for the EMEA region with a base location anywhere in Europe, including the UK, Germany, France. The brief is to sell the company’s insurance telematics and data analytics services in the EMEA region. Language skills useful, particularly German.
This position is customer facing, responsible for the management of accounts within our insurance sector. Working with the leadership team and alongside an established service team, you will be responsible for sales and relationship development. Experience in selling complex high value Tech solutions to the insurance is essential.

Your Accountabilities
• Generate a sales pipeline, forging relationships with key stakeholders.
• Manage customer liaison to transact complex transformational service sales and complex solution sales to maximize profit.
• Responsible for sales campaign, adherence to sales methodology and communication to all stakeholders to win the sale.
• Responsible for initial negotiations for long term contract sales.
• Engage with appropriate resources and management to ensure solution meets customer needs.
• Proactively builds customer contacts and rapport across a number of customers, levels and opportunities.
• Identify a broad range of opportunities and customers to develop sales campaigns.
• Develops strategy to maintain and increase market share.
• Inspires sales team to drive and maximize profits.
• Identifies and opens opportunities across more complex and contracted professional service solutions to ensure a consistent pipeline.
• Bring opportunities to closure, negotiating profitable long-term contracts.
• Deliver all revenue targets associated with EMEA client accounts through proactive sales strategies on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Conduct regular meetings with prospective client organisations to demonstrate our capabilities and drive the sales process forward, drawing in other members of the team as appropriate.
• Lead responses to relevant RFI and RFPs within the EMEA region ensuring that submissions are of a high quality and deadlines are always met.
• Build an extensive network of relationships within target client organisations and track the status of the relationship through the effective use of the CRM system.

Job and person requirements
• A proven track record in a sales/account management role.
• Demonstrable success in selling complex technical solutions into the insurance industry.
• An ability to build relationships, able to influence, challenge, and engage well with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation experience, both commercially and legally.
• Innovative thinker, particularly regarding approaching sales in a ‘remote’ world.
• Ambitious and driven individual who is organised with good attention to detail.
• Collaborative with experience of leading ‘virtual teams’.
• Technology ‘savvy’.
• European languages would be an advantage, particularly German.

Location: Home based - Anywhere in Europe.
• Type of role: Permanent.
• Salary: OTE £100k + (high basic salary + commission).
