Account Director, Central Government IT services. Home-based. We are recruiting a Central Government IT services Account Director for a leading provider of software, cloud, cyber security, modern workplace software licensing, hardware and consultancy solutions and managed IT services to the public sector.

As part of the company’s Public Sector sales-team you will play a meaningful role in scaling a fast-growing technology company. Focusing on a handful of strategic Central Government accounts.
Our IT services client is recruiting for someone to join their collaborative Public Sector sales team, working in a modern, innovative technology company with a new and different approach. There will be opportunities throughout your time with this exciting IT services company, with a huge footprint in Public Sector, including Central Government to maximise your performance and earning potential. In addition, mentorship from the leadership team.

Key responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be to engage with prospective and existing Central Government customers and shape relevant public sector specific digital services. You will also promote the company’s expertise and capability within software and hardware solutions. Being responsible for the end to end sales cycle, you will take warm inbound leads and grow existing accounts by building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the digital transformation teams in our customers.

This is fundamentally a ‘land and expand’ Central Government account development role, building trusted relationships and growing revenues.

• Understanding the transformational requirements of your customers
• Building relationships with new and prospective clients
• Continuing to grow your technology knowledge and skills
• Developing enhanced Public Sector intelligence
• Be a strategic guide for your customers future digital transformation
• Collaborating with your co-workers and suppliers

What you will bring
• Proven track record in selling technical products or services
• Substantial experience in selling into Central Government for a Value Added Reseller (VAR)
• Collaborative spirit, thriving in a high-achieving sales team

Nice to have skills and experience:
• Specifical experience of selling software, cloud, cyber security, modern workplace software licensing, hardware and consultancy solutions and managed IT services
• New business/logo business development experience in Central Government

Location: Remote role
Remuneration: Negotiable Basic, OTE £200k +
