Meet the experts
Richard is the founder of FT Select. Richard’s long-standing career started when he joined the then market-leading telecoms recruitment team at Computer Team Group PLC in 1995. A year later, he entered Netsource at their inception, and over eight years helped grow it into a multi-million-pound recruitment service. Now, with over 20 years’ experience in the sector, you’ll find him here, dedicating his knowledge to helping our clients and candidates with their recruitment needs – unless he’s riffing on his guitar.
Malcolm has a background in Electronic Engineering . He brings with him a wealth of experience and insight from his successful career spanning many years in the telecoms industry, which includes senior appointments at Nokia and Nortel. More recently working for Nokia Network's €21 billion organisation of 90,000 people he led over 25 critical internal business transformation projects worldwide. Working with boards and senior executives in Asia, Latin America, China, the US and Europe he solved strategic growth, organisational change and business profitability issues to deliver solutions that in one case represented a €100m in profitability improvement. Malcolm shares our values and vision at FTS and he will help us shape our strategy and propel our expert telecoms recruitment company to market leaders in modern communications recruitment over the next few years.
Anne’s career began in banking, working for trusted and respected names like Barclays, Rabobank and Chase Manhattan. But with a degree in psychology, understanding people and their needs is more her thing. After making her move into executive search some time ago with the prestigious Praxis Executive, creating her own successful executive search company, and a few aces on the tennis court, Anne joined the team here at FT Select, applying her knowledge of people to matching them with the right career ever since.
Before his move into telecoms recruitment, James was a high-performing national account manager with an outstanding track record of success working with market-leading businesses, including Jacob’s, United Biscuits and Pernod Ricard. His experience in FMCG and a degree in politics and economics has helped James understand exactly what the client needs, making him one of our top recruiters – even if he is a Liverpool fan.
Jacqui has over 30 years’ experience in the financial sector. In 1994 after gaining vast and varied accounting experience in an accountancy practice, she formed her own successful company, which provides financial services to small and medium-sized companies and practical financial support and helpful guidance to the management team. Jacqui’s hobbies include taking fitness classes at the gym, reading and following a variety of sports, including being fortunate enough to hold a season ticket at her beloved Arsenal Football Club.
A background of working within IT as a developer and analyst have made Juliet the ideal telecoms recruiter. An ex-contractor with over 20 years’ experience in sourcing, engaging and delivering permanent and contract IT/technology staff to UK and EMEA clients, Juliet can work in both high-volume, fast-paced environments as well as providing a more specialist, niche hiring service to contractors looking for something very specific.
