FTS is recruiting a dynamic, highly organised and self-motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruitment across a diverse portfolio of roles. This is a strategic position suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, builds trust effortlessly, and understands the nuances of hiring within the IT Services and Software sectors.
You’ll be the driving force behind sourcing, engaging, and securing top-tier talent, while ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end recruitment: job briefings, CV screening, interviews, and offer negotiations
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and deliver tailored hiring strategies
• Source candidates via ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and referral networks
• Conduct structured interviews to assess technical and cultural fit
• Coordinate interview logistics, feedback loops, and onboarding processes
• Maintain accurate records using CRM and ATS platforms
• Build and nurture professional networks to support long-term talent pipelines
• Mediate salary expectations and facilitate ethical, balanced negotiations
• Champion a positive candidate experience from first contact to onboarding

Essential Skills:
• Strong communication skills: Able to clearly articulate job opportunities and engage confidently and knowledgeably with candidates and clients.
• Interviewing expertise: Skilled in conducting structured and insightful interviews to assess candidate fit.
• Ability to analyse and evaluate: Capable of evaluating candidates' suitability.
• Organisational skills: Able to manage multiple vacancies, candidates, and timelines without dropping the ball, utilising internal systems.
• Experienced using recruitment tools: Competent with applicant tracking systems (ATS), and professional networking platforms like LinkedIn.
• Understanding of employment law and compliance: Basic knowledge of legal frameworks around equal opportunity, GDPR, and fair hiring practices.
• Negotiation skills: Can mediate salary expectations and facilitate offers confidently and ethically.
• Ability to time manage and self-motivate: Due to the remote working environment, self-drive and performance awareness is crucial.
• Emotional intelligence: Ability to professionally evaluate candidates, empathise and build trust—an essential factor for success.
• Networking prowess: Skilled at building professional relationships and creating referral pipelines.
• Industry-specific knowledge: Understanding trends, jargon, and roles within the IT Services/Software sector
• Adaptability and resilience: Able to thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing hiring environments.
• Comfort with Ambiguity: Thrives in dynamic environments where clarity evolves.

Desirable Qualities
• Sales or marketing experience: Helps with pitching roles, building employer branding, and attracting top talent.
• Creative problem-solving: Can spot alternative talent sources or suggest new hiring strategies when needed.
• Experience within a target-led environment within the industry.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ successful experience in recruitment (agency or in-house), proficiency with ATS systems, LinkedIn, etc.

• A relevant role within the IT industry.
