A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workplace Identity and Office 365 Technical Architect to join our client, a leading IT outsourcing company in their rapidly expanding Consultancy Practise. who work with some of the top companies. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate functional knowledge and technical expertise around Azure, Identity and Office 365 covering on-premises, cloud hosted and hybrid environments with real-life experience of on-premises to cloud design, delivery and migration. You MUST have strong pre-sales and delivery experience for this role.

This role will require you to visit client sites UK wide and homeworking when not on site.

Your role will be to promote innovative solutions to their customers, develop relationships with key customer stakeholders and to help them achieve their business goals.

You will be working with customers as a trusted advisor and assisting them in achieving their strategic goals from a cloud enablement and Office 365 perspective. You will also have the opportunity to work with some of the client’s vendors and partners in the subject matter area to help (and support) with the continued development of their propositions around Identity and Office 365.

Key to your success will be your broad range of long-standing and evidenced skills and experiences in designing end-to-end solutions, building teams and working closely with subject matter experts across all aspects of services and technology disciplines, and delivering technology solutions aligned to contracted services capabilities.

Role Responsibility

Main Responsibilities

·Advise customers on the drivers for executing organisational change as well as adopting new technologies

·Advise customers on the adoption of agile methods of delivery and the impact on IT operations

·Lead, own and support the pre-sales and delivery assurance including ITTs, RFPs and RFIs

·Understand, define and present maturity models and roadmaps for customers’ transformational activities

·Collaborate with the sales, technical delivery and operational teams in the development of Identity & O365 engagements that meet customer requirements

·Discover and analyse customers’ IT operations and technical state and provide recommendations for improvement, formally as strategic roadmap services

·Continually build and maintain effective relationships with internal and customer stakeholders, by demonstrating empathy, honesty and informed advice

·Work with the services, marketing, and solutions teams on portfolio and product information launches including enablement and education for customers and employees

The Ideal Candidate

The Ideal Candidate

·10 years+ experience in IT consultancy and thought leadership including all aspects of design, delivery and business value definition

·Technical expertise in on premises Active Directory and Azure Active Directory

·Technical expertise in Windows Server (all versions)

·Technical expertise in cloud based Single Sign On

·Technical expertise in non-Microsoft Identity products such as Okta

·Technical expertise with Microsoft Intune (particularly around IOS and Android device management)

·Technical expertise around Office 365 (to include email, OneDrive and Teams)

·Technical expertise in Office 365 security and compliance expertise to include EM&S, RMS, Microsoft Security & Compliance including Azure Information Protection, DLP, ATP, Sentinel, EM+S and RMS

·Proven understanding and application of Consulting and Project Management frameworks, approaches and methodologies; industry recognised accreditations are a significant advantage

·Expertise in defining, reviewing and managing technical requirements and business functional requirements with the ability to interpret customers’ business and technical requirements into IT services and solutions

·Proven experience in stakeholder management working with senior internal and customer executives

·A proactive approach to building technical and professional relationships with customers, vendors, partners and internal stakeholders

·Experience in business case development including aspects of business value-add and cost savings

·Proven experience in creating services cost models with appropriate cost levers and the associated quality assurance/governance

·High standards of quality in documentation skills and presentation experience with mid to large-sized internal and external audiences

·Understanding of and ability to articulate industry trends and potential future directions

·Understanding, adoption and enforcement of corporate governance and assurance policies and processes
